By creating an account or using CarryLink you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
CarryLink is a peer-to-peer marketplace that provides two core services: (1) a Delivery Marketplace connecting travellers who have available luggage space with individuals who need items delivered between locations; and (2) an FX Exchange enabling users to buy and sell foreign currencies peer-to-peer at agreed rates. CarryLink is not a courier company, licensed money transfer operator, or financial institution. We provide the platform only.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use CarryLink. By registering you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete. Identity verification (government-issued ID) may be required before withdrawals or FX trades are permitted.
Users must not use CarryLink to transport illegal substances, weapons, counterfeit goods, hazardous materials, live animals, cash, or any item prohibited by the laws of the origin or destination country. Travellers have the right to inspect and refuse any package.
Payments are processed via Paystack (NGN) and Stripe (international cards). Funds loaded into your CarryLink wallet are held in escrow until a booking is completed. CarryLink deducts a platform commission from each completed booking before releasing payment to the traveller. The commission rate is shown at checkout. Your first transaction may be commission-free subject to platform settings. Value Added Tax (VAT) may apply to the platform commission depending on your billing country and applicable law.
Registered users receive a unique referral code. When someone signs up or completes a booking using your referral link, you may earn a reward as defined in the platform reward schedule (visible in your Dashboard). Referral rewards are credited to your wallet and subject to the same withdrawal terms as other earnings. CarryLink may change or withdraw the referral programme at any time.
The FX Exchange allows users to post listings to buy or sell foreign currency (USD, EUR, GBP, etc.) at self-set rates. Trades are matched peer-to-peer; CarryLink charges a platform fee on each completed trade. CarryLink does not guarantee exchange rates, trade completion, or the accuracy of any rate displayed. The FX service is provided as a convenience only and is not regulated financial advice. Users are solely responsible for any losses arising from FX trades. Completed FX trades are non-refundable.
Users may hold balances in NGN and activated foreign currencies (USD, EUR, GBP). Each currency wallet is separate. Funds in foreign-currency wallets are withdrawn via international bank transfer (IBAN/SWIFT). CarryLink does not convert currencies on your behalf; any conversion is negotiated directly between users on the FX Exchange.
CarryLink facilitates connections but does not guarantee delivery. Travellers are responsible for safely transporting agreed items. CarryLink's liability is limited to the platform commission collected on the relevant booking.
In the event of a delivery dispute, users should first attempt resolution via the in-app booking chat. If unresolved, either party may raise a formal dispute through the platform. CarryLink admin may access the booking conversation to review evidence, and their decision is final. Disputes must be raised within 7 days of the marked delivery date.
CarryLink reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, attempt to manipulate the FX Exchange, or harm other users.
CarryLink may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
